Joseph Balsamo, Count Cagliostro, born in Palermo in 1713, visited Egypt, Arabia, Persia, Malta, Rhodes island, the islands of the Archipelago and Rome; and everywhere, he acquired sciences which ensured to him a colossal reputation in the art of oracles. He died in the castle of Saint-Léon in 1795, and it is there, in an old manuscript, that he left this Oracle: The Hand of Fatima, in use since a long time among people of the Middle East, and unknown however until lately. Here, according to orientalism, the translation of this oracle thus found again : This oracle is divided into two parts : 1°) The hand of Fatima, or key of the individual numbers which are used to determine, in a very exact way, the character, the temperament, aptitudes of a person. 2°) Double Zodiac, key of the future which is used to raise the veil of the future and to plunge its glances in the abyss of the destiny. This Double Zodiac is the part of the figure formed of two circles concentric and placed below the Hand of Fatima,

from which it is separated by a double line. Explanation 1° - THE HAND OF FATIMA To know the character, the aptitudes, the temperament of a person using this oracle, to take each letter of the name and first name of the person, and to replace them by the corresponding figures registered compared to these letters in the racks which divide the hand of Fatima. Add all the numbers given and you will have the individual number of the person. To have the significance of this number, please consult the table of the Hand of Fatima , while observing to remove the thousand and to examine besides what is the significance of the hundreds.
