After the passing of Stainton Moses, Mrs. Speer sent her notes to Light. From them selections have been made and are now republished, so that teachings of great value and interest may not be lost. They are not continuous, being merely extracts from a large amount of material; passages not contiguous in the original are sometimes placed in juxtaposition if they complete the sense. The teachings are given in Mrs. Speer’s words, except where inverted commas denote the actual words of the communicating spirit. Unless otherwise stated, Imperator was the spirit-control. In concluding the series Mrs. Speer says: “It is impossible to give any idea of the impression produced upon the Circle by the beauty and refinement of the manifestations, or by the power and dignity of Imperator’s influence.”
